Just as when you are home searching, make sure you like the location of the complex in terms of the larger neighborhood and that you preview the specific apartment you're considering. Before signing any lease contract, have a full understanding of all the terms of the lease agreement, inlcuding how to break, reassign, or buy-out your lease in the event you move before its termination. It is standard practice in this area that you provide credit history, evidence of up to two years of rental or owning , and/or some type of proof of funds.
